The website below is a reference.

This looks like retail, not bulk honey sales. It says it includes sales of different sizes but I suspect it is by a jar, not including barrels.

I had a fellow call me yesterday looking for some honey. He got my number from the ad I run for our new bee keeping association. I told him
I didn't have any for sell this year but referred him to another beek north of us. I mentioned that she usually gets $15 a quart and he cut me short.  "naw, I ain't going to pay that much. I can get it at the save-mart for $7.50 a quart. I use to keep bees 25 years ago, I'm a disable vet." I explained the corn syrup thing and he brushed it off. For what ever reason when someone throws up "I'm a disable vet" it ticks me off. I'm a disable vet as well but I get my but up ever day and go to work. so if he can get it there for that much - why call me?

Well, put up the sign out on the street to get more sales, with the higher price in bold black, and I am sold out.

It was a good year in total, I got 7 gallons from 3 hives and one got split and supplied honey for the split.  At least it was my best year, I guess I don't know if that is a good total harvest.
