two weeks ago i thought i was going to be feeding through the summer.  everything has been blooming but we had 3 weeks of rain in april.  in the last 7 or 8 days my hives have either filled 2-3 mediums or drawn out a deep of foundation and filled it and started into a medium at my home yard.  privet and clover have adapted to the weather, i guess.  usually privet comes on all at once and is gone in about a week but this year it's been coming in staggered and has been blooming for 3 weeks.  it's not my favorite honey but it should be mixed with clover and hopefully a little poplar.  anything beats feeding through the summer and getting nothing.
what is everybody else in the south east seeing?

Southwest, not southeast, but also having a lot (whole lot) of rain this year.  Wildflowers blooming nearby.  My privet has bloomed and is fading. Din't see bees paying a lot if attention to it, tough.  Maybe they're occupied with the wildlowers when they're able to get out between rain showers.  Overcast skies last few days, so even when it's not raining, the bees can't be enouraged to go far.

BTW, we're about the same latitude as Atlanta -- maybe 30-40 miles further south.

How's the poplar going? Up here in KY, we have black locust and poplar in full bloom.
