Freezing Honey Supers over winter

G'day Folks, I hope you've all been well! It's been sometime since I last posted - life has been crazy! I just had a quick question. I've got a few hives that I did a really late pack down on - the hives are located in a spot that is typically quote cold (for Australian conditions) and I opted to reduce them down to a single as they have plenty of honey in the brood nest. That meant that I've got two boxes of capped and partially capped honey. I don't want to extract it as not all of it is ripe yet but I similary don't want it to sit around and get wax moth in it or ferment. Has anybody frozen supers of honey, removed them in spring, and placed them back on the hive? any downfalls of trying that?

It will work fine. Go for it.

It will keep fine if it stays frozen.  If you can put it in a closet with a dehumidifier, you might be able to finish drying it so you can harvest it...
