Bumble bee infested in my enlaw's house

Can you keep bumble bee's and if so what type of hive do you keep them in?
My father enlaw has an infestation in his house.

You can have bubble bees early in Spring. I collect about 10 queen bubble bees, I construct a simply bubble beehive and I am selling to farmers with greenhouse with cucumbers.

How do you tell a queen from a worker or a drone?

Queens are bigger than workers and they fly early on spring to collect pollen and nectar to start the colony. In my beeyard I collect queens at the end of February.

I have seen some monster size bumble bees and I was wondering if that was the case.

What is teh difference between a bumble bee and a carpenter bee?

I don't know, but I'd guess their size & where they live at. I'm thinking carpenter bees are bigger and live in wood. Bumble bees won't drill into wood to make a home. They'll live under ground, in old bird houses, ect. You'll see their nest and think it's a rat's nest until they start making noises.

Bubble bees ahave colonies and carpenter bees are solidarity bees. The type of nest is deferent. Carpenter bee like the photo is xylocopa (it's a Greek word) it means woodcutter-lumberjack.

If the bees are drilling holes and  living in them they are carpenter bees. If they are living in a cavity with the nest they are bumblebees.
