Hello. I had been toying with the idea of getting in to beekeeping for a few years now. A few months back there was a knock on my door, it was a young man wanting to place bees on the road I live on. He works for his father and they have a good size operation in Yakima, Wa. I have had 36 beehives on my property for a few months now. I told the owner I wanted to get started on beekeeping and he mad a split for the hive I had recently bought. I now have my own bees. I have watched hours of video ( The 628DirtRooster has to be my favorite!) and read quite a bit too. I'm looking forward to the education I will be getting from here.  Thanks for letting me in and God Bless!

Welcome, you're at a good place to learn. When I first found this website I started with the most recent posts and started going backwards for about a years worth of posting. 628dirtrooster is fantastic.
