small hive beetles

I wonder if anyone else are having a lot of the beetles this year?
I was pulling some oil pans and several had hundreds of them dead in the mineral oil. Maybe all the rain we have had lately caused a big hatch out!
I have sevearl thing going to prevent them from getting into the hives but some are doing it anyway. I have the beetle blaster traps,Micro Fiber cloths,screen bottom boqards with oil pans plus a tremite type shield around the inside of the bottom boards.Still beeetles!UGH!

I've seen more this year than the last two years combined.

Never seen one and hope I never do, our hot soil and ants eat anything that hits the ground under the stands, don't make it easy for them and from what others say here in AZ they are not as much a problem as elsewhere

I just checked my hive a few days ago and the brood comb was had a lot of SHB larvae.  I'm going to Dadant Wednesday and getting whatever is available to fight them.  But i've never seen the SHB so overwhelming.  We, too, have had a lot of rain this spring.

Thanks for the replies!I believe the warm soft moist ground allowed them to hatch in force!I hope they don't kill all my hives!I have tried everything I know to fight them!
Last year I never had very many at all!I have lost 2 hives this year as both were cut outs and weak to start with and the beetles got them fast!
Our Queen mating yard is full of them also!Full sun helps a lot I THINK ! i EVEN HAVE THEM WITH METAL ROOFING UNDER THE HIVES!

LOTS of beetle issues this year. Seems like the beetles used to give me a little more time, now its a wriggling mass of slime almost overnight! The hives they are hitting aren't always weak either.

I've seen more this year as well but I tend to blame myself for it. I messed around and didn't clean and fill my oil pans until about a week ago. Them and the wax moths really appreciated the buffet.
