Hi Steve,
I'm doing an honesty box out front and selling for 8 bucks per jar (410g). 100 down so far....
The neighbours seem to appreciate the chemical-free honey 😀

I wouldn't sell raw honey for $8/kg. That's way too cheap. Around here its about $20/kg. I'd sell 500gm for $8.

Thanks guys,I think I will increase the price to $10 a kilo. I really have trouble selling it as where I live its a No Through road. I had an Honesty Box going but I was lucky to sell 3 pots a week.

10 is still cheap. We have no trouble with $12. It's $9 per kg to our retail stores. About $6 to $6.50 wholesale.

Yeah ok, thanks ADH, I will try $10 a kilo and see. I might try and promote myself a little more.

Have you thought of placing a sign on the main road pointing down your road. Might help a lot.

It's all in how you market it. We sell our honey for around $43/kg.. but we're in Brisbane, have a good social media presence etc. Most of the bog standard beekeeper honey at the markets etc sells for $10/kg in my experience.

I think I'll try the Social Media bit and a sign. $43 per Kilo wow well done.
