Did a water meter cut out, had old comb from a previous hive, got a queen Cell for them tomorrow and will see how they do

Nice, Are the bees in your area of Florida Africanized?  These look pretty well settled. Good Job!!

From what I understand, Hernando county Fl is Africanized bee territory.
Africanized bees prefer to build in small voids in the ground like water meter boxes. European bees prefer to build in trees and voids above ground. Re queening is a great idea and follows Florida?s best method and practices which were mainly created for the area south of the I-4 corridor.

Yep thanks Jim, I remember you and I discussing it before. Requeened next day after I pinched the queen and replaced with cells from Sebashtion H. queens and they hatched out on 4-4-18. I just happen to have a extra cell from my splits I was doing. So will wait till 4-19 and watch the magic.
