Before we have too mow all of this beautiful clover we decided to let the cows in the yard and have a feast. We let them feed for an hour and then after they were full, we sent them back out. A couple of hours later as we came in from the back fields we found them back in the yard. We plan on doing this every day to get the yard grass cut down and to help fatten up the herd.

Good thing they are not sheep or you would be looking at dirt.

Ace,
Life is great. I should have retired 40 years ago.  :cheesy:

I put down #50 of white clover seed after clearing trails.  I was surprised it came up in the heavily wooded areas, but it didn't flower.  It adds a lot to the soil and hopefully a draw for the deer.
It's August here and bees are still on whats left of the clover.
Such a useful plant.
