UH-OH!  He's been stung.  I'm betting JP has a drone before the summer is over.  Watch for more drone video of removals when he gets it. :cheesy:

Even a toy one under a 100 bucks would be good for inspecting eaves.

Like cameras in mobile 'phones these drones in the hands of
Joe Public are bound to be a thing we live to regret. For the
moment though one can hear them coming a mile away, so
for the clay target enthusiast they should provide some
entertainment!..  heh ;-)
The video again is of excellent quality, only the subject
is rough (diamond).. I note the grey is spreading, JP... but
you're losing some pounds so Life is treating you well, my friend.

I'd be willing to bet even a small drone could be used to get a rope over a high tree branch for swarm shaking.  (I.e., it could carry a light string that could be used to pull a heavier rope.)

If you try it put a sinker about 6-10 down so the wind doesn't blow the string into the rotors.  If that happens the drone is toast and could be dangerous.

I have used a 45 recurve  bow with a braided fishing line, with a bow fishing rig, with string tied to tip thread area, and tip blunted, screwed into the arrow shaft, works like a lucky charm!

The moment I saw the house in the video, I thought "that's New Orleans!" Well, Metairie is close enough. Fond memories of the place, I grew up in Kenner. Left nearly 40 years ago, and I still feel nostalgic about the crazy place.

Thanks for the memories.
