It was a little weird this year good amount of nectar early, not enough to stimulate them into drawing wax, but plenty to backfill with. Hard keeping the bees home with all the nectar in the broodnest, tried spinning it out, became to much work with everything else going on. tried supers 95% wernt interested in moving the nectar up, I did try a couple drawn supers underneath and that seemed to work. On the bright side I didnt have feed any existing hives this year, and once the flow kicked in everything seemed to get back on track for the hive I managed to keep home.

So to put this all in perspective it seemed we had an early Intermediate flow, not enough bees yet. just a strange early spring.
