I hope all Beekeepers fared well during this past storm which produced a tornado in NC. I checked on mine this morning expecting some damage. None whatsoever and relieved. 2 1/4 inches of rain and 35 mph gusts hit the farms in my immediate area. I have this gut feeling there will be lots of snow this winter.

I wasn't so lucky, 80 mph winds cleaned house.  But I've restarted so many times what does once more matter.

There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

I wish everyone a mild and wind free Winter. Bad rain and heavy snow is bad enough, high wind damage can be catastrophic.
