one of the bee mags did a multi-part story about this.  funny thing is, Paramount also owns almond groves (among other things) that depend on the bees for pollination.  some question about the planting practices for the seedless also.  if proper block planting procedures had been followed along with a buffer crop, would this be an issue?  anyway....interesting stuff.

I think this article is Stale-dated I think I heard on the radio her that the beekeepers have prevailed.The opposition tried to have bees considered like livestock and the owner was supposed to keep them from there property or they could be declared a nuisance.I think I heard the beekeepers won on this issue

i think after hearing about the freezes they've had in CA there's not going to be much in the way of CA citrus this year anyway.
