Just when I thought things were slowing down....

One of those great days today, nice and warm with a gentle breeze. I was gunna get into the brood chamber and spot my queen. However, it was one of those days when all the lil baby bees were doing their orientation flights. Couple of hundred of them all doing little laps alongside the hive. Out of the hive, a few circuits and back in again.

Seems to happen every 6-8 weeks or so it seems. They have good timing as another round of Eucys are about to come into flower.

Queen spotting will have to wait for anohter day.
