I was reading in a book about other bees robbing a hive. From what I read, my hive is being robbed. There are bees everywhere, comeing and going. They are crawling up the hive to the top then flying away which is bees robbing according to the book. I looked in yesterday and there is no food stores, but lots of beautyful capped brood on three full frames. The bees coming in, some have pollen some don't. There isn't any fighting in front of the entrance. I started feeding 2/1 sugar/water yesterday afternoon. Is this robbing or is this the way bees act when there is a flow starting up? Thanks.

Could it be bees taking their first orientation flights?  The behavior will sometimes look like robbing but, if you look carefully, they'll be flying "up and down and side to side".  Robbing bees will tend to be more "darty" and, there will most likely be several fighting infront of the entrance.
