Just hived a package of bees on Thursday and today, (Sunday), found the queen outside on the ground. She was alive and had lots of attendants. I put her on the bottom board and she went inside. Feeding lots of syrup. What should I do or watch for?

Sometimes there is a queen loose in the package and another in the cage.  Having more than one queen in a package is a common issue.  She may be an "extra" queen put in by accident and the bees decided they wanted the other one.  On the off chance she just decided to go "walk about" you probably did a good thing.
