Plastic foundation

I am just starting with bees and noticed that on two corners of deep plastic foundation, there is a crease that can be broken off to form a notch on the corners of the foundation. Is this to be cut off or is the sheet to be left as a true rectangle.

it is entirely up to you.   if you break them off it gives the bees access to the other side easier

I usually break them if they are scored.  I don't if they aren't.  It really doesn't make any difference that I can tell.
