Tropic

All was very peaceful in tropical bee country until some AHB bees decided to bully some mini trigona stingless bees at their sugar feeder site. A major battle developed to eventually involve over 200 honeybees being floored and made immobile. The Trigonas won the day and kept the honeybees away from their small feeder, a truly amazing feat. These little mini bees can certainly hold their own against the big bad guys and amazing as it might appear, no bees actually died ... just egos bruised. Here are some photos of the actual battle in process.
