Beek from South Carolina, Hey y'all!

[Beaches Bee-Haven Apiary]

Hi there, I and my mom are currently running an apiary of 7 bee hives in South Carolina. I've been interested in honey bees as long as I can remember. Last year my mom and I took a beginners beekeeping course at our local association (which I am currently secretary, BTW) and we've been keeping bees since. We started with just one hive for financial reasons, but than earlier this spring I bought five more hives, and mom split the original hive, so now we have a total of 7. I'm already a member of BeeSource.com forums, but I'm looking forward to being active in this one too. These are great places to learn about honey bees and beekeeping.
