I'm looking around on the internet, and I'm seeing a lot of equipment for processing honey. Some people here, may use different things.

So, I'm wondering, what kind of equipment does everyone use when they're processing honey? Is it expensive?

We use a 4 frame hand crank extractor.  Most of the aditional equipment is stuff I built or use in the kitchen.  We do have an electric uncapping knife.
I want to try comb honey someday.

Yep, I have the same as Jimmyo....A 4 framer hand cranker and a hot knife..I used the hot knife for the first time last Saturday,....or was it Sunday...?
My knife costed more than my extractor.(different story, earlier post)...(hee hee...That thread got a few of us labeled as "Site bleep" or something to that effect.)

I use cheesecloth to strain with...a cookiesheet to un-cap on...An orange bucket to let my honey pour into from the extractor(I also use clothespins to hold the cheesecloth in place on the edges of the bucket to keep it from falling into the bucket from the weight of the honey)......and, not to forget,....a helper or two!

For 26 years, I just crushed and strained.  That required only two five gallon buckets.

LOL. Yes, I did, but thats beside the point, I got his greatest treasure on our wedding day.

He always kept Bees. Well, he claims he wasn't a BeeKeeper, he was a honey robber. His ticker went bad so he gave me all his equipment. Took me a few years to actually take the plunge, but now that I have I can tell he's pleased.

Now, I need to find a way to leave this post where my wife will read it.

How wonderful he's still around to appreciate it, Bennettoid.
