The NYC bill reminded me of a question I want to ask...

Has anyone successfully helped organize and repeal a law against keeping bees in your town/township/county?  If so, how was it marketed?  There are a number of ordinances in Florida against beekeeping that I'd love to see go away.  We have so much hysteria over Africanized bees here that I think it would be a hard sell unless presented skillfully.
