:? I guess I dont see any clover. Never mind. I see the first post was modified. Sorry

I have to say the best honey I have ever eaten was from South Dakota from Mennonites. I called and spoke with the producers of the jar I had gotten, from a customer, and I was told the predominant nectar source was sweet yellow clover. It tasted like honey and pears mixed together.

Ok, we'll try this again.  I have yellow blossom sweet clover seed that we raise on our for for seed and a honey crop.  Seed has been run through a faning mill.  I'd like to trade for bee equipment, hives, package bees, or the like.  PM me if interested.  Thanks,

Camp

Glad to hear, us too.  We had a dry spell during the summer, but it didn't seem to hurt it at all.  Just remember not to cut it the second year (this year) before it blooms or it won't grow back.  You probably know that, but there are some that don't.  Thanks again.

I've received two pm messages to my email for the sweet clover, but they don't show up on my messages on the home page.  I've tried to respond through my email, but it won't go back, only one way.  So who ever it trying to contact me try again or post here.  Thanks for the interest and apologize if this post is off topic.

Camp,
are you well stocked from fall cleanup?

Camp9

Well stocked with seed, but our honey crop was the poorest we had in 30 years.  We got a 1/2inch of rain from the 3ed week of June to the 3ed week of September, wasn't good.   :(

Seems we got all the rain you needed .Heck this cold snap seems to have been our longest reprieve from a rainy day.

I've been meaning to mention that I also grow red clover (medium red) seed and offer that too.  Thanks,  Camp

Sent an email to you Camp.

I got seed from Camp9 and it was beautiful. Smelled like heaven. Going to sow it along the railroad line that runs close to my property. Should be good the second year!!

Thanks!

Got my yellow clover seed the other day.Hoping to work the ground soon for planting it.

Camp9

Glad to hear you guys got your seed and getting ready to plant.  If anyone needs to get a hold of me on seed you can email me at [email protected]  for some reason when someone writes me a PM it comes to my email, but when I log into beemaster it dosen't show up in my messages, not sure why but I'll figure it out, so in the meantime just write me direct.  Thanks,  Camp
