Hello,
My name is Damien and I am new to the beeworld. I am currently working hives with my girlfriend's Dad and brother. Who are also new. We started off with a Wild swarm last summer and have since purchased three new colinies. Soon after getting the new hives home our colony from last year swarmed. So we now have 5 boxes 4 of which are very active. We are having a lot of fun. I look forwar to posting about our experiences and reading about everyone elses.

iddee,

You do know that there is a little village (hey, it is not big enough to be called a town, ya know) up the road a ways from me that is also named "Bath"! I guess Illinois needed a 'Bath' too with all of those dirty politicians!

BTW

Welcome to the forum! There are some good folks on here and ask away on the questions, even if they do not know the answer, I am sure that there will be someone on here to answer anyways!  :-D

You' ll get good answers, wacky answers and sometimes correct answers!  ;)

Dirtyankle's name started me thinking. Not only does NC have a black ankle, dirty ankle, and bath, but a trip down hwy. 62 is a real adventure. If you start in horneytown, going east, you will get to high point before reaching climax.

Now get your mind out of the gutter.   :-D   :-D

Dirtyankle, it's time for a response from you.   :?

Looks like bath is about 300 miles from the dirty ankle. As for the book I have not read it. Is is a must read for bee enthusiasts?
Damien

No, it is a comical writing of small towns and communities in NC.

Dirty ankle is far from bath, N.C.
