Ok, Saw this for the first time today.

Two weeks ago left some supers on my tailgate for the Bees to clean up after extracting.  After storing the super noticed some cappings piled up on the tailgate.  The Bees worked them for a couple of days to clean out the last of the honey.  Then they left it alone.  Now that its gotten hot out those leftover cappings have melted and formed a 3" X 6" x 1" thick slap of wax on my tailgate.  This evening I needed to use the truck and noticed the wax was covered with Bees and they are clearly chewied it down 1/2" and are packing it away in there pollen sacks.

I didn't think Bees reused wax.  Was I wrong?

Bees are not proud when it comes to recycling wax, honey or propolis, if it is readily available.
