What are the ways in which use to put a new queen in the hive?

making a push in cage out of hardware cloth is nice.  let the attendants out, put her on a comb with some open brood cells, put the cage over her, and once she starts laying she should be accepted.

The push in cage is by far the most reliable (put over emerging brood).  A candy release from a cage with no attendants would be next and a candy release from a cage with the attendants still there is the simplest, but less reliable.
