Poor pic, but can you tell what kind of bush/flower this is?

The bees....all kinds.... seem to love the flowers on this bush.  It is at my folks place, and they did not know what it was.  Do you?

Maybe some sort of Hydrangea??  Does is have a smell?  Is it like a bush or just stalks?  I'm sure someone else on here will know

It is kind of like long stalks that make up the bush..... if that makes any sense.  If no one knows from this pic, I will take a better pic and post later.  Thanks

Looks like a hydrangea to me, I have this type of variety in my yard too.

Are those large flowers on the same bush as the small blooms in the large cluster?

It's a type of drawf hydrangea. I have the same kind in my yard.

Its a hydrangea. I have several in my yard. You can tell by the shape of the flowers and the leaves.

Ok, I'm ready now... ;) Afyter much thought and reading  :roll:  I have come to conclusion that the picture is of a hydrangea. Probably a dwark hydrangea and maybe one called the "peegee" hydrangea.  :imsorry:

I believe that it is a butterfly bush (Buddelja davidii).  They come in different colors.  Here are a couple of links to pictures of the:

I have a 3 white ones in my yard.  Towards evening when the moths begin to come out they look alive with all the butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, . . . .and many other critters that feed upon it.  I don't think that I've ever seen any honey bees on it, but I don't watch it very closely.
