newbee question does sugar type matter

we have two packages of bees arriving for our first attempt at a couple colonies and while we've read a lot and been to a few classes by the local bee keepers club we've come up with a question we haven't seen adressed. do bees really care if the sugarwater in their feeders is from beet sugar or cane sugar? i can't imagine they'd care but it doesn't hurt to ask
