I am fairly new at all of this and have read EVERYTHING in this forum and beesource...

I figured I would do something a few others have done. I created a blog about my adventures into the world of beekeeping...

Jared's adventure into beekeeping

That is the website. Check it out!

Very cool JROD. When I got into this hobby, I thought that all I need is another hobby that you spend money (amateur radio is my other). Seems that I'm always needing something... the UPS man keeps showing up at my door! But it's worth it.... been having a blast.

Jared, welcome to our forum, so nice that you have found us.  Great that you are keeping a blog, it will please you and others.  You will have many tales, stories and experiences to tell, and we love to listen.  Stick around, we love new members.  AND..have that most wonderfully awesome day, life and health. There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

Welcome to the forum! I havn't checked out your blog just yet, but I look forward to reading it in the future. By the way, what part of NC? I've spent a good deal of time in Raleigh and Greensboro.

Also, good choice in equipment. Brushy Mountain is the way to go in NC.
