I was standing beside the pumpkins yesterday watching the Italian girls doing their stuff when I saw a bee that I had never seen before. I didn't have my phone on me or I would have taken a quick snap but trolling around the internet I'm pretty sure that it was a blue banded bee.

I have what I am pretty sure is a blue banded bee that likes to visit my garden too.
I should try and take a photo of it one day......

   my lade gave me a mobile one that takes photo got some photo of native hive plus brood and honey pots.my problem is i don't have cable to go from phone to computer to do up loads. so is their some one how is willing send me their mobile num so they can put photo up. if so send it to my private email.

hi every one
                 turned out all right Phil,the top photo you can see the small round brood nest in the center,when the brood hatches they tear the old cells down build new ones.they deposit the old stuff out side.the honey .pollen stored around broad nest

   if you got the blue banded bee, fair chance you got the teddy bear bee he is around same size as blue banded bee.,..is brown with some yellow markings on her.
