new queens!!

checked the nucs where i placed my recent grafts today.... the results?
i got queens!! woo hoo.
cute little gals with great looking wings.
( feel like a proud dad! )
now if they can just get mated and back in one piece.

most often i find my greatest source of stress to be OPS  ( other peoples stupidity )

It is better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought of as a fool than to open ones mouth and in so doing remove all doubt.

Exciting ins't it?  Enjoy!  First times are the best!  Yet I still get a thrill every time I go into a nuc and find fresh hatched queen that I grafted way back when she was just the tineyest bit of a "C" shaped larve.  Enjoying the wonders of nature is the best benifit of beekeeping.
