I have two areas of my yard with a horrendous japanese beetle grub infestation. I have no choice but to spread Maxide Grub Killer granules on these areas. The closest area to my hives is about 150 feet and not under their main flight path. Do I need to worry about poisoning my bees with this stuff?

Hello gardeningfireman.  I used to live in Aurora in Portage county

The Label on the insecticide bottle will have a phone number on it for questions.  Call that number and ask them your question.  The call is free and the technician should have an answer or can get one for you.  It is more or less federal law that they provide you this information.

Also, the label will state whether is is especially harmful to bees if it is.  Read the entire label!

I have been a licensed Pesticide applicator in 5 states, including Ohio.  If you can't get the info let me know.
