Hey Y'all!  My name is Jim and I'm in Dahlonega, Ga.  If you know the area at all, I'm on Hwy 52 West, about one mile east of the Dawson/Lumpkin County Line inside Lumpkin!

VERY new to bee keeping. I have a friend at work thats talked me into it so I'm starting out with two Hives.

Also very interested in Weather!  I have a wireless Davis Weather station that records all weather data here on the farm. You can view it by checking out the link within my signature.

I'm also into Cameras. I do have a live stream of the Hive, but I'm not allowed to post it yet  !!  :(   It's my "Hive Live" webcam! Hahaa!

All jokes aside; I've been reading this forum for sometime now and have followed a lot of you!!

Welcome, Jim. You don't keep any colonies of bees in the "other" colony in Dahlonega, do you?      :-D

Literally a whole 'nother side of you!!!!  Iddee, who knew????

Well, welcome, Shep 1478 from Dahlonega - I drive through there all the time on my way to Rabun Gap - well at least I go up Long Branch Road to get to 115 and almost come to Dahlonega!  And my daughter was married last year at Neverland Farms just outside of Dahlonega.

Great place - lovely for bees.

I lived in Dawsonville too for about 5 years off Hwy 53 near the Other Place.. They're very quiet; you'd never know what was back there thats for sure!

Linda T; i've been reading your blog too. Very interesting!  Also, I know Never Land Farms, they're good people over there. We also own a Wedding and Event Facility here in Dahlonega called Waters Mill.

Thanks!
