Yeah, I have a real weakness for baklava - I don't know if I want to find a good recipe so I can make it myself or not - I would probably end up weighing 300 pounds :-D

That is awesome stuff. I buy the phyllo dough, and there's a recipe on the back. Or you can find it on allrecipes.com. With a little lemon zest added to the honey-sugar-water sauce, it is incredible! I made a couple pans last year but am still nowhere near 300 lb :D I'll see if I can remedy that this year. Just got a quart of beautiful clover honey from my friend... mmmmmm....

it's not hard to make, but i can't do it.  i eat it all.  once you have made your own, you can't buy the store stuff anymore.

It is a big problem :D I stuck the entire batch in the freezer, but that barely slowed me down. I would just pry out a piece and enjoy it partially frozen. There is no such thing as bad baklava!

its great straight out of the freezer...best part is you get to savore it longer as a peice lasts about twice as long/ :-P
