This one was a lot of fun!

Nice to have all the equipment they did like the 30' long fork lift to elevate the forms the bees were in so I could remove them quite comfortably.  ;)

JP you may want to think about selling a training CD for bee removal.  Nice

Another peaceful bee removal from JP who makes it look so, so easy. I enjoyed this one a lot. That queen was really small, sort of like ours are out here.

Thanks for sharing

Dang, that one's too easy for you JP!  :-D

I can't believe they let you stand under that fork lift like that, safety man would have thrown a fit. Just think if a hydraulic line would have failed, yes I know the load wasn't much but still a recordable accident on the contractor.

anyway

Great save there JP and would have been right there under it with you too.
those hot bees will have you steppin and a fetchin like your heads on fire and your keister is a catchin!!!

Bees will be bees and do as they please!

Another great video!  I am always amazed how you can record everything, hand out honey samples, and still get everything done in about 10 minutes!! :-D

I could practically taste that honey all the way from here.

JP, what kind of knife do you use to cut the comb?

To a beginner such as myself, that was amazing. Thanks for sharing. :)

Very cool and I learned something new again.

I liked they way you left the comb attached just a little towards each end, so you could put down your knife to grab the comb with both hands and then just gently pull it off. Way smart, I've been doing it wrong trying to support the comb with one hand while cutting it free with the other and then fighting to hold on and balance it in the one hand while I get a grip on it with the second hand.

Man your giving away all your trade secrets!  :)  :)

Thanks,

Don

Thanks everyone!

Liz, I like a serrated knife with a flexible blade. The original Ginsu knives were the best! The one in this video I purchased in the fishing section at Academy Outdoors.

Don, I actually prefer to leave a lil bit attached in the center after freeing the ends, then its wiggle time!  ;)
