Bee-Bee Tree

Does anyone know about a tree refered to as a 'Bee-Bee' tree? I understand it grows about 20-25 feet tall and almost as round and blossoms in the fall. Is it beneficial to the honey bee and are there drawbacks to the tree other then its short life span (25 years)?

WOW! That's quite a picture! I bought 6 of the bee bee seedlings not too long ago. They are about 4" high. I sure hope they grow fast. I thought they grew to 45'.

I planted 5 5' American Linden trees this spring, also. So far, the Japanese Beetles don't seem to bother these like the Little Leaf Linden. The American Lindens grow 100' tall, but I'll probably be dead by then.

I'm hoping for overlap from the Spring blooms of the Linden, to clover, to the bee bee trees.

$54 for 6 saplings of 4-5 inches.  :shock: Whoah!!! i was trying to give my 4 or 5 away locally, for free. Took me a little while.
Maybe they'd go faster if i was selling them instead.
Anyway i now have a new batch of fresh seeds i send for free (just send me a SASE). Now is the time to start them.
