Ok I am really having problems finding the right wicks for beeswax votives.... First I tried some zinc core ones no good, then I tried a 6/0 tabbed still no good the votive candle just tunnels and the flame gets very very small.... no spitting or going out like the wax has honey in it...

any deas?

Katharina

Getting unwaxed wicks and dipping them yourself into the same beeswax you use for your candles may work.

Thanks   How do you do that with votives without the tab on the bottom?

Katharina

You buy the wick tabs extra.  Glory bee does sell them.  It is quite easy to attach them.  First you soak the wick in wax and let it cool.  Then you stick the end into the tab and squeeze it with needle nose pliers, and then you cut it to length.
