We just got power back on about two hour ago.

I have not been out to see if any hives were blown over. I also have not recieved any phone calls from farmers (who look after the hives and let me know if they see anything wrong).

Anyone have any storm damage from Irene? Any hives lost?

Moderate winds and lots of rain here.  The hives cruised through.

Just maybe all the rain over the last two weeks will give a good fall flow...

Two of my hives fell over but none lost.

We were on the edge of the outer bands.  Much Rain & heavy wind but no problems.  Both the neighbor & i were able to go into the hives briefly between rains.

strapped all hives together with ratchet straps and put 2 cinder blocks on the covers, heavy rain and then strong winds after and everything stayed put.  I will say there are a few big pine trees that probably did a little wind breaking, but I thought for sure we would have problems and we didnt.
