keeping mite-away-test strips longer in the hive

i did not read anything about any harm done if strips are left in the hive longer then the 7 days.. will it harm the bees?

t wont harm the bees... its pretty much finsihed after the 7 days.  Some hives the bees will remove it over time, some hives they wont
