This is olde news but just wondering how the vote turned out?

I have no where near 50 hives but believe taxation is not a panacea for solving every issue & actually hinders progress in many instances. Afterall the taxation w/o representation let to revolutions. Beekeepers just squeaking by I'm sure would find their 1000 hives losing $1000 just in taxes alone, quite detrimental in these economic rough times.

Never under estimate a beaurocrats creativity when it comes to dreaming of new ways to take (tax) something from someone else.   :'(

Of course the california style beaurocrats have learned to start the thievery out nice and small to make it as least objectionable as possible before they ramp up putting the screws to you.  Once these SOBs get started on something like this their appetite for other peoples money only leads to one thing - continuation and escalation of the parasites newest feeding opportunity!

This is straightup classical Falcon Crest Aristocracy thinking at work.

I'm so glad I will never have 50 or more hives!  I do not have the ability to deal with these folks at this level.

I sure hope they don't pull this off.  And if they do I hope Apis Rescue can stay out of thier 50 hive target.
