Labels , well I thought I had it all lined up for one of our popular label makers to have them done but havent heard back in a long time even after a couple reminder emails.....soooooo

those rolls of labels that brushy and other sell, can they be run through a lazer printer?

if so anyone done it before?

what kind of template do you use?

You have to get the sheets of labels and software.  The rolls will not work with normal printers.  If you want the rolls to save money,  go to Staples and get a Stamp made.  Then hand stamp each one

We print out the sheets.    Have the wife print up a whole mess of them and use them as I bottle.   Works fine.

onlinelabels.com has thousands of different shapes, sizes, colors, and textures.  There is a size that will fit what you are looking to label.

And they have an online label designer that you can use for 3 months with purchase.  It creates a .pdf that you can then print off as often as you like once your label is designed.

I think I could get 1000+ of the labels (way more than I need) I wanted for something like 40 bucks or less.

I am just creatively barren ..... that is the reason I was looking for someone to do them for me, ::::sigh:::: I guess there is next year, not that I will be anymore creative then....LOL

Thanks for that info Scadsobees.

You can keep it simple and not go too crazy this year.  The formatting program that you get to use when purchasing labels through onlinelabels.com will allow you to download pictures.  Do you have a photograph of your apiary, of yourself working a hive, or of a bee that you have taken?  At that point, all you have to do is add the text and you are set to go!

I'm not a graphic designer but I thought it was pretty straight forward and I've been happy with their labels.  I spent a bit more and got waterproof labels.  My only hickup was that I have to take the labels and my .pdf for printing on a laser printer, but someday maybe I'll have one of my own!

Right Here. You use Microsoft Word to edit the template. They are nice labels and work well with laser printers.

These are the one we use.   Big sheet, run through the printer.   Put your name, number, weight on the labels.
