Cabot's Australian Timber Oil

Just finished applying Cabot's Australian Timber Oil on four deep hive bodies and six medium supers. Prior to applying used a wood conditioner and then a piece of lambs wool to apply the Timber oil.

I used natural and the pine looks great, very natural and rich looking. Timber oil is made up of linseed oil, tung oil and alkyds. I kept the insides well protected. It should dry in 24 to 48 hours and should provide excellent protection when I set the two hives out in the early spring.

Has anyone ever tried this product before? If so how did it hold up ?

Now I just need two Nucs in the spring. I decided on Nucs instead of packaged, a few bucks more but I think I'll be more successful starting with them.

Need a local supplier to Long Island or the tri-state are within driving distance of say 125 miles tops. There is one person local to me on the Island but I'd like to see who else is out there before I lay down my hard earned cash. Pays to shop around if possible.
