Hi guys,

Yesterday I finally got around to adding a super to my hive after I found the brood box was mostly honey. When I added the super I took some some frames of honey out of the brood box and put in the super replacing them with new foundation.
My question is, will the bees eventually empty the remaining honey from the brood box allowing room for the queen?

Thanks
Shane

Did you check the trapout, for eggs Larva??
If they have a laying Queen you can take a frame from
that, to make the new Hive

Unfortunately I have slept since then but I pulled 5 frames the other day from the trap box and they were all honey.
