will my bees release the queen on their own :?
A swarm of bees in May is worth a load of hay; A swarm of bees in June is worth a silver spoon; A swarm of bees in July isn't worth a fly.

If you are speaking about a caged queen, yes if the candy plug is exposed just make sure the candy in the cage is turned up otherwise if the attendants die in the cage and stop up the opening she will not be able to get out.

If they have not eaten the candy in a couple of days, release her on your own.
