Aiden on the news for beekeeping (video)

Aiden took my new demo hive, an empty hive and all the beekeeping gear to class today to give a demonstration to the kindergarten classes of Clinton Elementary School.  His kindergarten teacher found out we kept bees last year and she asked if he would come in and talk about them.  This year she asked him to come back and give a demonstration on beekeeping again to all the classes.  I think he did awesome.

Naw, just a local thing i guess, that channel has the news and local stories for a three hour block from 4-7.

I didn't know there was a Beemaster.com shirt.....  I knew there was talk of one sometime back but thought it kinda took a backburner.

That was the swarm that G3 gave him a couple weeks ago.  He was so pleased to take them to class and tell them they were his bees. :-D

That's a great expose'!  You'll find that education about our pollinators (both social pollinators and solitary pollinators) will be greatly in demand by your local schools & other civic clubs.  If you're selling products of the hive, that's a great way to promote as well.

Wow that is great! We have got to get at least one suit for my little guys to share.  They love going out with dad to check the bees.  I think it is great to get the kids excited about it and to teach them as well.  Good Job! :-D

Ps.  I like your observation hive.  I think I've got the husband convinced he needs to make one.  We have been asked to come in and give talks about honey bees so it would be a good thing to have.  Plus  I just love watching them in action!
