Noticed quite a few dead uncapped brood.  I would say the larvae were only 1/16=1/8 in length.  Larvae turned black.  Do not see mites, will start a hive mite count today, but have seen no signs of mites or any other vermin.  This hive has a questionable queen.

Have been watching several dead brood being carried away from hive only notable thing is none have heads, bodies look fully grown.  Those are white and glisten.

I agree with Jim. Especially due to your location. What are your night time temps?
