Bee got in tonight

ever have one of those days.....well I had my daughter down at the hive tonight.. and I was being very careful that her suit was all closed up and all. I am pretty sure I closed my suit up as well. but things went wrong, one of the deeps fell over, just not a good day. then all of a sudden i feel this thumping on my chest. Initially I thought it was my glasses ( i hang my glasses in my shirt collar) but then i thought, "wait i have my glasses on" then the little girl just shot straight out of my chest into my face.....bees on the outside OK, inside nope that isn't good..... needless to say the little bee was very very mad... how i did not get stung I have no idea...

Guess you were lucky.  From what I have heard, night isn't the time to mess with bees anyway.  You did fare better than I did a few months ago.  My eldest boy went with me to check the bees.  He got his suit on quickly and started to the hives while I was still getting my suit on.  He open 1 without smoke or anything else, he found out his zipper wasn't completely closed, 2 got in, both stung him.  and I still didn't have mine on 2 got me on the right eye lid, that phomone thing really works for them. Ha
