Just posting here to make sure my account doesn't get deleted.   8-)

I have taken up backyard beekeeping, 12 years after I kept bees in Peace Corps Paraguay.  I am loving it, needless to say and feeling a bit overwhelmed by all I must know to keep my bees healthy and safe!  I have joined a women's beekeeping club and have scoured the web finding lots of handy info as well.  This forum looks to be a handy resource as well and I look forward to joining your ranks!

Onward fellow beekeepers.

Checking my signature image once more.  Disregard.

Welcome from one women beekeeper to another. Been keeping bees since 2006 and still learning all the time.

Love your photo there.

Welcome to the forum. I see you live in Lakewood, I lived in the Denver area until about 9 years ago when we moved to rural Nebraska.

It is very cool that there is enough interest to have a women's beekeeping club!

Hope to see some posts from you so we know how your adventure is going! I think a lot of us newbees  :-D tend to over think what is going on and miss some great opportunities to observe, learn and enjoy our obsession.
