Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to post a quick intro. I have been wanting to get into beekeeping for years, and finally have my ducks in a row for this year! I attended beekeeping school last week through the Central Texas Beekeeping Association and learned a lot! I have some equipment and am waiting to pick up my first package of bees on 4/20. My family and I are very excited to start on this new adventure and are trying to soak up as much information as possible. It seems like the more I learn, the more I realize how much more I need to learn, lol

Thanks,
Shannon

Shannon,
Welcome to the forum, lots of good knowledgeable folks here willing to share their experiences and offer advice to us newbies.  I think your statement above sums up my attitude as a new beek perfectly.  :)

I jumped in rather quickly....caught the urge in late October and got my first bees mid January.  Loving every minute of it.  If you haven't realized it as of yet...fair warning, this Beek thing is addictive!  :-D
