OK guys and gals,  i split the hive and waited a few days and went back into both hive bodies...one had eggs and the other did not.  i put a bought queen in the one without a queen and the other i could not and still have not found her i know shes there but she is a great hider...the top section that i set to the side after 1 day with the caged queen had already changed their attitude with me.  still working on finding the snotty lady in the other hive.  will pinch her when i do find her.
