good to see you on the forum ray.  you got kind of quiet for a while there.

I've been pretty busy with all this beekeeping and building equipment. It doesn't mean that I haven't been keeping up with all that's been going on though.

i don't know about any of that stuff, but DID YOU KNOW that Monsanto is engineering food to make us sterile!!

so the super secret agenda is to do away with the entire species?  or are they keeping the good food for themselves and all the rich republicans?  it only makes sense that they would want less end consumers......wait a minute!

It's class warfare. Those who shop at Wal Mart and the likes get all that good Monsantos food and other wonderful ingredients while those who can pay top dollar for Organic (Shop at Whole Foods and the like) will be able to breed as they can afford to have children and are also smart enough to know to stay away from Monsanto foods...

it's class warfare perpetrated by the current white house administration (who is in bed with big bad monsanto).  seriously?  if the upper removes the middle and lower class who is going to do all the work?  has monsanto perfected the servant robot or monkey butler?  are they waiting to breed us out of existence before they bring them into production or do the wealthy americans already have them but they aren't telling because they have to be part of the conspiracy after they learn the secret hand shake?  making the poor and middle class go away does nothing to serve the wealthy.  it's laughable to think that anyone would really believe this but even more laughable that a lot of the people that do make fun of all the "NRA gun nuts" that think the government is trying to disarm them.  break out the tinfoil hats!!!!!

I was jesting 10framer.   ;)

But having said that don't mistake my poking fun as I am taking sides with Monsantos...

Monsanto or any other group is only going to let you hear what you think you want to hear.

well, i'm kind of on the fence when it comes down to it.  i wouldn't put much past them, any big corporation or our government but i have yet to see what i consider compelling evidence that gmo crops are doing any harm.  i see a lot of links articles that are ridiculously biased and no real studies.  i also have lived within an hour of of anniston most of my life and i've never heard anything about the high cancer rate etc.  i think there are a lot of trolls and want to be activists that don't mind spreading propaganda.  and a lot of people that simply want to believe it.  but i really do want my monkey butler.

I really think we are heading the way of "Soylent Green" anyway. Sooner or later big population will be our downfall. My father used to tell me the worlds greatest problems were big politics and big population. When I was younger I didn't understand just how bright he was.

I understand. I don't trust Government one bit (Cough) Tuskegee syphilis experiment just to quickly name something. When it comes to companies, they are the same in many ways. Monsantos is not going to come out and say, there are side effects unless they are forced and even then we know they will lie if they can.

i lived half my life really close to tuskegee and still drive through there about once or twice a week for work and i definitely know that story.  i think big brother did a lot of experiments on soldiers over the last 70 or 80 years and has most likely experimented on civilians as well.  we know they don't mind going through our emails and phone records.

Think of all the different problems our bees are facing.  Rampant use of insecticide, SHB, varroa all brought about by man. Varroa spread from Aisa, SHB from Africa all from mans intervention.  Natural barriers kept the EHB from these nasties, man brought about the unnatural exposure. Pesticides and GMO foods are simply an attempt to feed the growing population. All we can do is try to help our bees to survive, all we can do is our best. This situation is why I got into beekeeping in the first place.

LMAO,  danno I was hoping someone would pick up on that. I was just trying to lighten the mood of this thread by throwing a little dark humor out there. I'm thinking a more appropriate song for this thread is by Hank Jr., "A Country Boy Can Survive". Do you feel me? :-D
